In India, about 52% of the Population studies in government schools and about 55% of them don’t go beyond 7th standard. Together we can change this! Because education is the only way for a better India and we need to join hands with the government in bringing this change.
Kalisu foundation is youth driven organization that provides high quality education to children studying in government schools coming from low- income background enabling them to maximize their potential and transforming their lives.
Kalisu was born in the young minds of Mysore at one of their local ‘addas’. Being products, rather victims of standardised- formal education system, we saw the need to break monotony and give children umpteen reasons to look forward to schooling. Thereon, like they say ‘everything else has been history’. Kalisu (v. to enable ) is a thought process that took birth in the early months of 2013
Kalisu foundation has been impacting the lives of more then 8000 children in 16 government schools through a persistently growing change makers network from all walks of life with a holistic approach towards educating and developing every child, hoping to give them a brighter future.

Mr. Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar
YKC Wadiyar is our Good will Ambassador and also our advisory board member. Maharaja Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar (Chamaraja Wadiyar XII) is the 27th and present titular Maharaja of Mysore and head of the former ruling Wadiyar dynasty.
Sri Yaduveer received his Bachelor of Arts, with a double major in both Economics and English from University of Massachusetts and had short stint working in corporate firms. A very keen believer of social change and a fitness enthusiast. Sri Yaduveer hopes that by joining hans with Kalisu Foundation we will be able to reach out and really make a difference that has a lasting and positive impact.
Dr. Mohan Kumari
Dr. Mohan Kumari dearly called as Gita is a well known writer who has authored many books such as “Nivedane”, “Taayigaagi”. The Interior" . She loves travelling and This has resulted in her crossing the seven seas several times. In fact her third book is a Travelogue,titled "My visit to U.S.A” she has completed her doctorate degree from University of Mysore on the subject “common personality traits of women achievers of Karnataka” and the same also has been published as a book titled “104 women will inspire.” she also supports various organizations that promote education, in particular education of underprivileged children from slums.
M C Mallikarjun
Mr. Mallikarjun is the Proprietor of Lakshmi Industries, leading manufacturers of machine crushed aggregate. He is the president of Sajjana Educational Trust, which runs free school for underprivileged children. He is actively involved in various associations and organization like Builders association of India, Mysore chambers and commerce etc.
Dr. N Muthukumar
Dr. N. Muthukumar, is President and Whole Time Director of Automotive Axles Limited, Mysuru .He joined AAL in 2008 as GM operations and currently heads India Operations & Export Business. He is the driving force to implement, sustain and improve World Class Performance Elements and Business results.
Dr. N. Muthukumar did his Doctoral PhD in Operations Management, from Annamalai University in 2014 & He did his MBA in International Marketing in 1992, M.Sc. in Applied Sciences from the College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai in 1987, and was a Gold Medalist in his Post Graduation studies.
Based o this achievement he was made to Lead Global Continuous Improvement for SSL International UK along with India Operations. He is past Chairman of CII Mysuru & Director QCFI.
Dushyant R Prasad
Dushyant Prasad is a non profit and healthcare professional. Currently, he serves as the Regional representative for South Asia of Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe e.V., an international charity repairing clefts for underpriviliged children around the world. He is also the Country representative for Schweizer hilfe, a Swiss non profit and the General Secretary of ABMSS, India and has a keen interest in food, wine and travel and an animal activist by virtue!
Mahesh A Talwar
A very passionate and innovative person, Mr. Mahesh A Talwar is the co-founder and CEO of Global Buzz which is delivering successful and innovative web solutions since 2007. He is responsible for driving his team to greater heights and today Global buzz has clients all over the world. He is also the co- founder and Chairman of Global Buzz Foundation which is currently touching lives of 1000 government school children through School adoption, Awareness Campaign etc.,

- Providing our people with a glimpse of the contemporary while being deeply rooted in local cultures.
We believe that high quality education equips children with the right character, skills and knowledge that offers the most powerful solution to break the cycle of poverty and help children from less-privileged communities lead empowered lives.
Children are academically and holistically monitored periodically, thereby giving insights into the effectiveness of our efforts. We also use standardized assessment procedures to rate ourselves in due course.
